Talvar has been engineering rock crushers since 1911 and today thousands of jaw crushing units have been installed around the world.
The range extends from small, low cost crushers for start-up operations through to high end crushers with capacities in excess of 800 tonnes/h.
Renowned for their strength, Talvar jaw crushers are built to last and give years of quality production even under the toughest of conditions.
Fabricated heavy steel plate body
Grease-lubricated self-aligning roller bearings
Jawstock bearings have adaptors for shock-pulse bearing condition monitoring
Toothed manganese-steel jaws (inverted for maximum wear life)
Replaceable manganese-steel side liners
Manual hydraulic pump/shim plate setting adjustment
Body bearings mounted in separate cartridge-type housings with valves to prevent over-greasing
Matched pair of flywheels, one grooved for vee belt drive.
Rocksledger Jaw Crushers
Talvar RockSledger jaw crushers for medium to high capacity hard rock crushing or demolition applications where reliability, durability and continuity of performance are paramount.
Designed specifically for primary stage crushing, RockSledger jaw crushers feature massive, stress relieved, single plate walls with deep and substantial external side stiffeners and a high quality forged steel eccentric shaft.
The shaft is fully machined and has a ground finish on all bearing contact surfaces to increase resistance to shock loadings resulting in longer machine life.
Rocksizer Jaw Crushers
Designed specifically for primary stage crushing, RockSizer jaw crushers feature the upthrust toggle action which is also common to the StoneSizer range.
This has been developed by Talvar to give a slight downward movement to the swing jaw that promotes a forced feed and therefore increased output while at the same time minimising any rubbing action resulting in a well shaped product and reduced and even wear on the crushing jaws.
Stonesizer Granulators
With a minimum closed side setting of 20mm, Talvar StoneSizer Granulators are designed to maximize production of smaller fractions and are available in two sizes 600 x 150mm and 950 x 150 mm.
Developed by Talvar, the upthrust toggle action of the swing jaw achieves not only greater outputs but also a well shaped product with low and even wear on the crushing jaws.
